Garnier Moisture Face Mask πŸ’†β€β™€οΈ

Hey guys!

I’ve never actually tried a full-face moisturising mask before, so I thought I’d give them a whirl! After great things about the Garnier masks, I thought I’d start with the Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask, claiming to be ‘super-hydrating’ and a ‘de-tiring’ mask. If you haven’t read my earlier posts, I actually have super dry skin, so hopefully this works out!

The mask:

When first applying the mask, there is a blue protective sheet on the other side, which I’m assuming is there to help with application to avoid the actual mask golding over… but don’t quote me on that.

Side note: does anyone else feel like they have come straight out of a horror movie when they wear a full-face mask like this? lol.

My thoughts:Β

Okay, so a few things I wanted to say about this mask. Firstly, I actually really like the smell of it. It’s just got a really gentle, slightly floral lavender, ‘clean’ smell… you know what I mean? Super relaxing, and for those who don’t like the smell, you can’t smell it once it’s been on your face for a minute anyway.

The second thing to mention is that the mask is actually quite long. As you can see from the photos it touches the head on my forehead, but that’s probably just because I have a widows peak… tragedy. Just something to bear in mind if you have a short forehead.

Another thing to add is that the formula of the actual product it quite wet, and although pleasant on the skin, A LOT of excess product is left behind on your face, so I just grabbed a cotton pad and wiped that away. Once the product has soaked into your skin a bit more it does become a little tacky, but it feels comfortable on the skin.

Lastly, so I think it does the job? Does it rehydrate the skin? YES. I actually really liked the product. I wouldn’t say that it was SUPER hydrating, more that the formula was SUPER wet, but it definitely moisturised my face for the couple of hours before I went to bed an overnight without feeling the need to add any moisturiser.

Thanks for reading and keep an eye out for my next post!
